This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
Transplanted kidney. Coloured 3-D computed tomography (CT) scan of the chest and abdomen of a kidney transplant patient. A contrast medium has been used to show the blood vessels. The donor kidney has been grafted to the patient's left iliac artery (lower right). Transplantation replaces a failed or failing kidney with a donor kidney. The donor kidney must be grafted on to a different blood supply since the diseased kidney is not removed. The kidneys filter waste from the blood and excrete it as urine. This image was created using OsiriX medical imaging software which allows surgeons to navigate around the body using fly-through animations of the data.
